renting movies?

If you can spare the $1, just rent from redbox. You can stream current episodes and movies in theaters from sites like 1channel or projectfreetv, but the quality is mostly crap.

Yea I just realized, I never actually tried DL’ding from there… lol. But for streaming, its awesome. All you gotta do is search for the movie/show you wanna watch, click on the picture/link, and choose a streaming mirror. Just don’t click on the ones that say “sponsored Link” cause that’s just ads and shit.

i set up a rogers video account and now drive across town to rent the occasional movie… only doen it twice.

btw, bridemaids is way over-hyped.

zip! like someone said…
or icefilms.info

so what if u rent now and keep it till they close down? LOL

netflix in free fall…lol lost 800,000 subscribers in the last quarter and 27% of their valuation over night.

how revenue goes up in a quarter like that is beyond me though.

For Netflix, the hits keep on coming – the bad kind.

The latest thwack: Netflix lost 800,000 U.S. subscribers in the quarter that just ended, which was littered with PR nightmares including a price hike and the Qwikster debacle. It was the first time in years that Netflix’s U.S. customer base shrank instead of grew.

Netflix shares plunged 27% in after-hours trading, though the company reported earnings that beat analysts’ expectations. Netflix earned $62 million, or $1.16 a share, on a record $822 million in revenue.

^ god DAMN!

honestly. i didnt find netflix all that great.

i think ppl dont want to “subscribe” if they change to more of a rent when u want pay-per-movie deal, theyd have more ppl, they have me on board! thats for sure

Netflix is horrible. I only have it to watch tv shows, family guy, breaking bad, the office, etc. Other than that, the movies are either 15+ years old or are some foreign asian/hentai film. I haven’t seen a good 2+ year old movie on netflix in a while. No wonder they are falling.
