Replacing door speakers in an 02 grand cherokee limited

Any help is appreciated…

So the jeep is my daily driver and I do quite a bit of traveling as of now. I decided I wanted to be able to enjoy music more than I was with the now getting with the worn out Infiniti Gold system that was from the factory. I bought/installed a JL 12w3v6 and had a 250/1 in a sealed box for bass, sounds incredible. It’s not over-bearing, just very nice lows and extremely clear bass.

What I want to do know is replace the door speakers, so here is where I need help. The factory Infiniti system from what i’ve been reading runs all the speakers at a 2 ohm impedance where most after market speakers all run at a 4 ohm. I’ve talked to a few of the local shops here in Boston and I get mixed answers. Some are telling me to just run them the way it’s set up install/plug and play. Then i’ve had others tell me I need to run an amp by pass, without it theres a greater potential of frying the amp and/or speakers.

Help?
