Replacing Motor/trans mounts on a 3400SFI

Mhmmm.
3400.
motor mounts.
headache.

I replaced the Front motor mount (Some people call it the upper I guess)
I replaced the Rear transmission mount (Some people call it the side transmission mount, driver side)

Howeverrrr.
The fucking left/right transmission mounts (some people call them front/back) are giving me the biggest fucking headache.

I’m sure someone is familiar with changing them, anyone have tips?
It’s specially a 99 grand am.
Same mounts/frame as alero, etc…

I probably should have just taken it somewhere to replace them… as that would have been easier. Ugh.

Soooo anyone want to come by and do them for me?
Money money money! ;D
I have more than enough tools for the job, it’s up on ramps + blocks now.
No lift, sorry.

What exactly are you having trouble with? I swapped the mounts on a 3400 before and didn’t have a single problem.

On how to exactly remove the Left/right transmission mounts.

They look like this.

Does that come out by itself?
Or does it come out with the entire metal mounting bracket?

I’m 95% sure I’m making it out to be way more complicated than it is.
But I can’t for the life of me figure it out.

I have managed to remove the bolts that go in the rubber mounts themselves, but the mounts won’t come free.
So I assume there’s more that I have to remove, although seems rather tricky -.-
Or maybe I just have to raise up the trans/motor more to free them up… I don’t know.

Front one was a little messed up.
