Then my next choice is Bistro Europa for non Italian
I forgot to mention Hutch’s too.

Tabree. Main st. Williamsville. Bruce and crew are great.
Another solid suggestion
So Tempo’s vs Hutch’s.
They’re both great, but the building / ambiance at Tempo is better IMO.
Well scratch both of those considering Tempo’s open spots are 4pm and 9:45pm. Hutch’s is 10:30pm.
Why go ON Valentines day anyway? It’s going to be packed, selection sold out, service stressed, etc.
Oliver’s?
I’m about to just scratch the whole Hallmark Holiday period.
Vday is my birthday so it’s MY DAY. I’ll be 30 yeeeesh
Another one for Europa. So good.
I wasn’t a huge fan of Oliver’s.
Thursday through Saturday that weekend is going to be busy everywhere. And as you’ve already noticed all the best places are booked up.
With food, service or both?
Food. Not to say that it was bad, but it didn’t impress me. And Hutch’s is just down the street, lol.
Love the people that walk in and try and get a table with no reservations…
THIS. The wife and I realized a long time ago that we don’t need to follow the crowd of sheep and go out on Valentines Day. Go a few days late, get far better service and far better food.
Valentine’s Day at a restaurant? No thanks. I’ll cook something nice at home and go out on Saturday night instead.
Went to Panos on monday for dinner with the girlfriend. We were seated on the second floor near the large windows to the left of the fireplace. Nice view and quiet at night with just a few other couples upstairs.
The lady had the Mediterranean chicken pasta entree, I had two 4oz filets with 6 jumbo shrimp and red smashed potatoes and green beans. First time there for dinner, everything was great for the price in my opinion, would go again. My only complaint is that the green beans were a little hard and undercooked for my taste. Bill came to $40 w/ tip. I have a friend who has been there twice and didn’t care for it either time… not sure if I got lucky or what.
Service was good as well, no complaints.
8/10
My favorite meal at Panos is the smoked gouda chicken Caesar salad.
Ugh, I could eat that all day.
Pano’s is good. I used to go there a few times per week when I was in my previous dept. and worked diff. shifts…
gonna have to disagree on Panos.
I’ve been there 3 times and never had a good experience. Got what i believe to be food poisoning once because it was spraying out both ends the next day, 2nd all of my friends ended up sick. 3rd time i chose not to eat and all of my friends food was under cooked, simple things like scrambled eggs were still running and looked almost raw. I haven’t gone back and don’t plan on it.
I went to Cantina Loco last night. I had never been before and i thought it was pretty solid. 7/10. Prices were reasonable, food was filling, margaritas were delicious!
Panos was hit or miss when I lived close to it. Some days, excellent, some days, terrible.
