my S13 plate lifted out of view at high speeds.
i ziptied it to the front bumper loose enough that it would swing up on the highway.
Ha! its possible to use a headlight motor :lol: I just have it grounded constantly and hacked into two wires. Their both positive wires. Theres actually three positive wires in there and two grounds…if u feed power to one it spins around and keeps going around. feed it to the second wire and it rotates 1/2 way then stops even if constant power is still given to it. feed the constant power to the 3rd wire and it rotates back to its original position. The motor only rotates 1/2 a revolution at a time perfect for what i want. So i can simpily run two switches to make this work or run it off of the headlight motor wiring and use the flip up button as my “Retractable Liscence Plate” switch. Ill just have to cut the one wire that causes the headlight motor to turn over when my lights Go on. Before i made my headlight assembleys i had two switches wired up to the headlight motor relay. I watched a drifting movie and he explained how to wire this even gave a good diagram. I dont rem how i did it but i could always check anyone interested? This is the setup so u can change the angle of the lights to sleepy with one switch then flick the other one which kills power to the motors so when u turn on your lights they stay sleepy. Let me kno keep it to PMs. Now im going to go pull sum vin desil stunts with my gangst*rr motorized retractable liscence plate! Cuz orig Nutta says im Desil just crazier. sounds awsome, i wouldnt mind using the motors for one either, i hate coming to track and having to unscrew them when i could just hit a button and it slides in lol, i would want to make one for the rear as well, im just thinking of how to make it as small as possible and not ghetto looking, maybe make some sorta sliding brackets and hide the motor inside the bumper… thanks for the info on the wiring, now i have an idea of how the motor works, before i just thought it was only 2 wires
