- That looks way better. Very nice.
- I have the same knife block. :highfive:
It would be amazing if people in this thread would stop looking at the fucking pictures and read. You might be able to find out how much he paid and where he got it from.

Not my thing but it looks really good. Good job.
Quite nice.
Looks good. I want to see what it looks like in person. Now use some spare CF on the microwave and butcher’s block.
Nah, I’ll rice out the toaster first. LOL

It matched his shoes
See your own avatar. Dick.
X… LOL
That’s the way shit looks when it comes out of our autoclave at work, whether we’re using woven fabric prepreg or unidirectional tape. You’ll get a more glossy finish depending on the tool treatment you use, the bleed scheme and porous layers you use between your part and the bag, and whether you use a caul plate or not.
Most of the gloss CF you see in hoods and whatnot has either a gel coat or a clear coat over it that gives it its shine. Fresh out of the autoclave usually looks like what you posted, and is actually good to go for interior parts. I’d want some sort of protection against water absorption with exterior panels (which is where the gel/clear coat comes in).
And to Xander, looks great! As others posted, I’d be worried about snags, but if you got enough to redo it, it’s not a big deal…watch for carbon slivers though, they’re a bitch!
That looks awesome, and it came out perfectly
That’s super hot.
It would look madd gay on my car, though.
do you have any extra to sell? or can you tell me where you got it? Look really good
Looks awesome
