My friend, and mechanic, for 6 years died in a motorcycle crash last night. Johan “Habibi” Hernandez RIP

only thing I know is that he was riding in a group, and they were speeding (but not crazy fast). the accident happened on a stretch of road where it goes from 2 lanes down to 1 very quickly with almost no warning. the woman in the car merged in front of him and he went into the back of her.

Unfortunately it seems that rider mistakes/unfortunate circumstances happen in group rides :frowning:

Ridiculous. I hate when I hear stuff like this. She maybe got a ticket and thats about it. I give riders as much space as they need when driving I couldnt live with myself… Rip Sorry for your loss…
