yeah guys kinda just found this out with my launch control… if i give it full throttle itll shoot up and bounce off 5k like its set at but then bawgs down to 2k and bounces off that instead? if i only give it partial throttle it wont bawg back down… heres a video…
ps have kpro so this isnt the stock limiter…its actaully launch control
are you in neutral/not in gear when this happens?
from my experience. the k20a2 will not let you redline when you are in neutral. I tired the exact thing happens in my k20 swapped civic. it has a rev limiter at 5k or something like that when car is not in gear.
He is not trying to redline it. He is trying to use his launch control which I assume is set at 5k but when he is partial throttle it will sit at 5k like it is supposed to… when he floors the gas it drops down to 2k instead… the video tells the story.
