So I’m assuming this is kind of a dumb question considering boost gauges/and some EBC’s have a vacuum line that runs into the unit inside the car.
BUT, I was wondering if there is any sort of issues running vaccum lines and mounting the MBC inside the car to eliminate having to go outside the vehicle to change it, especially once I get it running and start to tune it.
I heard somewhat slower response time, but I really doubt it. I mean its what an extra 5 feet or so? if it were attached to a 20 foot ref line and 20 feet to the wg, yeah it might be an issue.
try it. boot it and watch your boost gauge, if it spikes hard then it doesnt work.
Also there are remote adjust kits for some controllers, you still mount the controller in the motor compartment but have a knob inside the cabin to adjust.
in cabin boost controllers have been used since the dawn of turbocharged race cars. all the turbocharged group c/GTP/IMSA cars had them. It’ll be fine.
