I always wanted to see what a WRX would be like minus all the fat of the AWD system. Not just disconnecting the diff, but remove EVERYTHING that wouldn’t be needed if it was RWD only. I bet it would be a pretty kick ass little sports sedan.

The nice thing is that it is already a longitudinal layout so it should be better suited to a RWD conversion.
There is a RWD STi running in drift competitions in JApan (F!GP) as well as the Cusco Subaru that runs in JGTC. They make pretty good RWD cars. Check out my gallery for closeups of the JGTC Cusco (GT 300).
