I wanted to put some wider tires on my s10, i need all the traction i can get with the v8 in it! What is the biggest tire you can put on the back of one? is a 1982 2wd

295/50/15? what is the height you want? 26,27,28"
depend on the size of the rim you have you could probably fit a big tire under there with a bigger rim but if it is stock rim which its probably 7-8 in. wide i’d say go with a 26- 10.50 or 11.50 tire which is probably close to what eurodad said with the 295/50

a 295/50/15 should be around 11.5 or a tad more. it’s been awhile since i looked into them.
295 is as wide as you can go with a 15" wheel without the tire sticking out past the lip. I have a friend running 315’s on his 18’s, but he has a 2nd gen stepside and he did a ton of measuring and shit on his backspacing and the such. But I know he was running a 295/50/15 on his drag radials on his ol’ 92 blazer.
