thanks for all the positive replies everyone.:present:
So I got home from class today around 10 and decided to drop the rear subframe. It took a little longer than expected since I was alone and my smaller floor jack decided to leak a good amount of oil sometime between tonight and last week, but overall im happy with how it went.
When I first saw pictures of this 240 it was most definetly the cleanest one I had ever seen. I was even happier when I starting digging into it and seeing not even surface rust on the bolts.
I started off by removing the calipers and tying them to the springs. Then I disconnected the shocks and slid them off the studs in the uprights.
Other than that I just had to unbolt the E-brake cable brackets from the top of the subframe and the rest was pretty straightforward.
Im still pretty new to taking pictures while working and I apologize for the quality (or lack thereof) :uhh:
I think I got a good amount done for the ~2 hours I spent working on it tonight. The next update will probably be bushing pressing.
