i have a 1990 Nissan 240.
i just picked up a 1991-1993 subframe.
i was wondering if it would just bolt up. if so what lines if any run thru the subframe fuel lines or what ever that i would need to move… or is it just a simple unbolt kinda deal? any suggestions are welcome.
It’s not an easy job, that sucker is heavy when fully loaded with diff, drive shafts etc.
There’s 4 main mount points, sometimes the bolts break instead of coming undone, then you need to do some welding to repair them.
Fuel lines shouldn’t be a problem, if I remmeber correctly they all go over the top of the subframe… however I’m not really sure that you can get the SF out without removing the gas tank.
I can look next time I’m under my car, but my question would be, why change the rear sub frame?
My guess is that you want the diff out of the '93. If so just change the diff, it’s about 1000% easier.

have fun changing that.
Should be done at a shop/shop environment.
That thing ways alot.
I believe it will come out with the tank in, but not sure as well.
