Currently in the Process of acquiring a 95 240 and Im looking for some suggestions for a lower HP drift build. Some do’s and do not’s as well as info about sites or local stores for quality parts at good prices. I’m completely new to this and any help would be appreciated.
What’s your definition of lower HP? :lol
I was thinking in the range of 300. Like I said, new to all of this and I’m not even sure if 300 would be considered lower HP.

LS1 or SR20DET
300 is lower, but a great start for drifting
deliver chassis and LS1 engine to CRC. pay bill and do burnouts.

It already has an sr20det. He has the block apart right now and I believe he finished rebuilding the head with cams. Not sure what size they are. He just didn’t have the time to finish building the motor. I believe the short block is still complete but it’s all stock internals.

I’m not sure I would trust someone else work. I would check the head out before using it and go thru the motor yourself or drop it off at a machine shop.
