S14 Manual swap into S13 Auto

I bought a KA24DET out of a 1998 manual s14 to go into my auto s13. (didn’t want things to be too easy) The s14 motor came with an s14 harness and AEM computer. I yanked the s13 harness out to compare it to the s14 harness… pretty different. Google is being useless for wiring schematics. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what plug on the s14 harness can be rewired to plug in under the dash of my s13.

^I never unplugged these. I’m guessing one is for diagnostic? and the other is for something my car isnt equipped with? Its got a plug in it. These are on the s13 also

Help would be greatly appreciated as wiring has always been my weakness.

The S13 plug under the dash is for the guages. The wires on the S14 for the guages go into the big plug. If you find a pinout for that plug on the S14 you can connect them to the S13 plug

s14 body plug also has the wiper wires running through it. blue connector is for relay, in s13 those are located under the hood.

I found this pinout, which is supposedly for a 98, but on my harness 13 has a big brown/white wire, 14 has a big white/red wire and 16 is empty, instead of having a yellow/black wire.

Thing is, these are made by different people and they use different terminology

Will the AEM computer work with the s13 harness? Then ill have to change the lower part of the intake, throttle body, dizzy and some other stuff…

no need to change the intake all u plug in is the injectors, throttle body, coolant temp,distributor,map sensor,intake air temp sensor…im not an expert on these swaps

so i guess ill just swap ECU plugs

So i went outside and started plugging things in to see what works and most of it plugs in… Changed the throttle body, 2 little sensors in the intake, and ill have to change the dizzy… anything else you guys would recommend?

only thing thats still making me wonder is… will it work with the AEM computer? by the sounds of it nobody knows so I guess ill have to find out when I try to start it

Make sure u take the wheel from the s14 dizzy and put it into the s13 dizzy because that wheel works with the aem

Alright, ill do that tomorrow. I switched the throttle body and the dizzy to the S13 parts, ill switch the wheels tomorrow (hopefully they fit) and i just put the dizzy on, ill have to take it off and make sure its timed with the motor.

Ok, last question. I found ECU pinouts, The diagrams only have 15 listed out of 118… Is this because the 15 are the only ones to move and the rest match up exactly the same? I’ll post the pinouts here so its not as hard for other people to find them.

EDIT: the s14 dizzy rotor doesnt fit under the S13 cap

Anyone?
