Hey folks just wanted to get some opinions and discussion about what model S13 to use for an S15 conversion, coupe or hatch. I know it boils down to what I personally like best, but I am really torn between the two and would like to hear some of your thoughts. The only thing I ask is for the S15 conversion haters to keep that particular point of view out of this thread, as I already know you’re out there

personally i dont mind it on the hatch but i think it looks wierd on a coupe. it takes away the line
Ypu should look for actual pictures of the conversion so you have more of an idea. PM angHELLic, I’m pretty sure it was him who had the converion done on the hatch. My vote went to hatch. I’m partial tho. :lol:

S13 hatch or S14. Very nice look and worth it IMO.
yea im a have to say the same im really like the coupe, but i think it looks best on the hatch or S14
Actually both of those pictures are real, I just quickly “completed” the paint jobs on both of them (as they are both work-in-progress). The hatch has been my plan the whole time, but then I saw that coupe conversion again and started to wonder… Although the more I look at it, the more it seems that the S15 front makes the coupe look too bulky, but perhaps thats just the body kit the guy is using.

I think it looks ridiculous on a coupe, but hot on a hatch
personal preference, in the end its your car, you have to live with it…
do you lack the confidence to make the decision yourself?

I gotta say I think it looks better on the coupe…
It just dosn’t look as right on the hatch
But maybe that’s because I’m used to looking at my hatch
the coupe and the s15 have way different lines…trying to make them one looks quite odd to me…
generally i hate s15 front on coupes
however that silver coupe is amazing
That first coupe looks very powerful and demanding. It’s a nice look which is why I voted coupe.
My vote was hatch until I saw that last coupe with the white te37’s.
That things has an awesome side profile.

Jesse are you planning on doing the conversion? Because honestly I’ve seen some sick s15 front ended convertibles
I was considering the convertible for my conversion, but after reading a lot about the extra stiffening required to get it even up to par with a stock S13, I have kinda decided against it…
