350 if you like some Luxury in your ride
X…
I dunno, I drive my s2000 on long highway trips all the time with little problems.
I’m also a big person
the lack of torque downlow isn’t all that bad, I find that the shifter is so fucking short and silky that I enjoy rowing the gears around town, up hills and shit.
Not to mention - driving around town without vtec = wonderful gas mileage (25)
Driving on the highway with top down @ 70-75 = 28-29MPG
It’s a fine daily driver, fine for picking up groceries (not Sams Club tho), had it on the road all throughout the winter as well (with my S03s) and it was a-ok.
The ass end is very very very very happy especially when you are shifting during a turn (even a slight turn).
I have a little seat time in a 350z, and like them as well. but it is very cumbersome feeling vs. the go-kart feeling of an S2000.
BTW, anyone who says “well the s2000 isn’t a good daily driver” would probably say the same for an M3. The harsher suspension obviously comes with a cost, the lighter weight of it also comes at a cost (less sound deadening).
That being said, I’d just go with what you want.
If you want a bone stock s2000 (02, with 9K rev limit) and low-ish miles (29K) with a 4 year warranty, let me know
