Because a good guy with a gun stopped a bad guy with a gun. The media doesn’t like to report these kinds of stories.

It doesnt fit their agenda… fox mentioned it briefly though
but the important part of the first graph is that gun deaths haven’t really risen a whole lot from the beginning of the chart. A few peaks and valleys but nothing really significant. On the other hand, vehicle deaths are sharply down from the beginning. That doesn’t mean that guns are getting worse, it means that cars are getting safer.
And the whacko’s are not.
Cars are getting a double bump in stats too because not only do they get safer each year but since 2007 total miles driven has been dropping because of the recession.
I would bet that a large portion of that is suicide by firearm.
