Sasha the Super Cool Racer Dude (split)

Have yuo called Ground Control?
Or maybe Truechoice if you are thinking of going custom?
Depends on how much you want to spend…
I still think he stould try QA1… We can figure out a nice little suspension setup for you sasha… i like i like…

I think Pratte is finally getting his Voitech-mobile back on the track this weekend. Heh. I’ll more than likely be there too.

I hope for the racer’s sake it doesn’t rain, but damn … it would keep the bees away. Last time I was at Mosport it was like some cheesy B movie “Attack of the Killer Bees”.

Sasha, while I’ll never be hanging over pitwall with an “Anis Roxors My Soxors” sign, credit’s due where it is. You’re doing what you want to do, and you’re injecting youth into a bunch of retirees and at the same time inspiring a lot of other people to step it up. I think regional racing could grow pretty quickly. Some old dogs are probably finally going to put their money where their mouths are.

You might want to try Visiontech out of Quebec for suspension. I’ve talked to them before about custom setups and they can do some pretty hardcore stuff – external reservoir, reverse strut, bazoolion point adjustability – for not a lot of money. Plus you can avoid any border problems.

mr200 you know Dave pratte?

^^^^

I rub his bald buddha head for good luck on a daily basis.

Well, no, but we work together.

I’ll go rub his head now for good measure.

He just dyno tuned his car yesterday and it looks good to go for the weekend. I don’t know if he’d rather keep his set up secret or not, but I wanna see how it runs

Pretty fast for a wrong wheel drive car

Sure was wet today, looks like we’ll be driving in the rain tomorrrow
Can’t wait, got the rains ready to go on, it should be fun!

It was dry! It was dry!

I got the porsche that I was tryign to catch, but a big boost spike on a shift (i hastilly was tuning my boost controller and accidently threw in way too much duty on boost build into my ems before the race - cuasing HUGE boost spike (20psi boost spike)) caused an intercooler pipe to blow off after hitting my boost cut (fuel cut of 20psi) so after about 5laps i finished the rest of the race with nooo power :frowning:

haha oh well.

And yea for that other locked thred (for whatever reason it was locked) theres racing this weekend and my next race is tommoorw at noon at mosport. Tickets are 15$ or free online or call me and ill get you some

Thanks for pointing me by and giving me room in 8
Too bad , looked like you were screaming along, what happened to Malcolm?

^^^ This has probably been brought up before but, you don’t drive a white SE-R Built by TAG Motorsports do you?

Which thread is that?

Nope, Silver SE-R Built by SPI Racing, sponsored by Assured Automotive/Oaktown Collision and Sigma Promotions

Which thread is that?
that was my thread i posted to find out when his next race will be unfortnately i couldnt make it to this weekend but i will for sure for the next 1 Sasha ill be pmin you about tickets possibly sucks to hear about your car pooping out

No prob dude. I was happy though, i turned out a 1.32 in qualifying like i wanted to and passed the porsche for a few laps. those were my goals :stuck_out_tongue:

malcolm’s car is overheating out of control. hes thinking augustino (autoworx) put the headgasket on backwards which would cause coolant passeges to be blocked off

Sorry to hear about your wreck, your car ok? what happened?

Vic turned in a bit early in turn 1, ran out of track on the exit, hooked the tire on the curbing and shot across to the inside wall. Mostly cosmetic damage, hopefully, we’ll get it to the body shop tomorrow and see the extent of the damage. We’re still planning to make it out for the enduro so we have a couple of busy weeks ahead. We just had a very wierd, problematic weekend including me forgeting the keys to the race car at home, Vics wife getting in a car accident, and I qualified with a nail in the tire…and that was just Sat.

Seemed like that sort of weekend for everyone.

It’s weird how nothing seems to go right for anyone on some weekend…

No kidding, and it continues, two of the guys I was supposed to have work with me today both cancelled, ones father ended up in hospital in Kingston, and the other had his car broken into this morning…I blame it on the Astrological society, apparantly Pluto is getting revenge for being demoted, talk about getting the planets out of alignment!

Indeed

mr200 tease dave about how I walked on him in his civic at 9psi boost like he was not even there last year

let alone what would happen at 21psi

Heh, I tease him daily.

More so about the long U-haul back from West Virginia.

“No factory baffling in the oil pan, eh? Guess the ‘R’ stands for Retarded.”

Some Honda guys never learn.

Unfortunately he keeps calling us all out onto the racetrack and (conveniently) my car’s still not ready.

I wouldn’t say EVERYONE had a bad weekend.

After the throttle body snapped on Pratte’s car Saturday (Turtle was driving - DNF’ed) he came from the back of the pack to take the win and the hard charger award on Sunday.

Sasha did blow by him like he was standing still - again. Passed like 4 or 5 guys under power … then we didn’t see him for a few laps.

Mosport needs a Jumbotron or something. I was camped out at Turn 5 and had no idea what the hell was going on.

Every time the pack came around, everyone except for the Porsche and the widebody BMW had traded positions

Yelling back and forth with one of the marshalls, we heard about the crash, but he didn’t know who it was.
