The only money order that is good is a us postal money order. All the rest can be canceled like a check. So he can give you the postal money order and you can cash it. Then after it is cashed you can pay off the lien and pocket the rest. Then you can give him the jeep. If he sends you a fake US money order the post office will let you know when you try and cash it.
