It’s so stupid to ban guns at schools. Let’s think about that from a criminal perspective…nobody who obeys the law will have gun. So if the criminal takes a gun onto school grounds illegally…he will be the only person with a gun on the entire property. Gee, thanks for that retarded gun legislation. Now any moron with a gun can hold the school hostage, and they can’t do dick until the cops or SWAT show up.

Security guards have guns at many buildings, and armed guards escort money. I guess money is more important than are children in this country.

i think that the armed guard solution would be for all schools, amish or not… do you think it would of helped in colorado? or anywhere else…? i do… but i also think we should kill anyone that takes hostages in schools long before we try to ‘peacefully resolve’ it.

i think that i should interview everyone in america and if they fail my simple ‘common sense’ tests than there would be sterilization procedures, or execution depending on how stupid/f’d up they were.
When i went to school there was always a local cop in school. They called it a resource officer. With a police officer on school grounds you wouldn’t have to allow guns at schools yet you would have one there in the right hands. We are all already paying for the police so maybe they could do more good in schools then writing citations for minor traffic violations all day.

We should require that teachers take firearms training, instead of BS training (sensitivity, affirmitive action, etc) and require them to call carry guns. Let’s see how many idiots kids carry guns to school knowing the entire staff is armed.
No metal detectors, no security guards, just put some responsibility in the hands of the people who have the most influence on the kids in the first place. They should see this stuff coming a mile away.
