Scramblers getting V8, 1tons, and 44"s

ive been busy stocking for stage 2 of my scrambler build:

4bolt 350 getting bored this week
SM465 4speed with 6.55:1 first / NP205 case
Dana60/14bolt axles
skyjacker4" YJ lift springs that will be SOA
44" Gumbo monster mudders

Got the 44"s used for 380$, i have finished re cutting the tread in one, but its been too cold outside to finish the other three.

Sound like a bad ass project. hurry up and get it done.

did you pay a rediculous amount for the D60?

i like it. my cousin has a cj7 with 1 tons an 49" iroks, but sadly its still a 6 cyl.

matter, i have a d60 that i may sell. its still under the truck.

woo this should be fun

i payed $600 for the 14bolt/d60 front, both open 4.10’s the D60 was full of mud though, but still a good deal. guy had 3 sets to chose from and forked them into my pickup, i was happy.

Thats awesome!

got the 44"s on, its pretty wide.

Wow ur not wasting any time on that looks huge. Are you on wnyoffroad at all the guy who runs it Josh is working on 60s f and r on his scrambler but his is shortened and full custom frame.

fuck me, that thing is huge, how in the hell do you even get up in that thing?

Im going to guess running start lol

looks nice man… sign up for WNYoffroad.com bunch of good guys on there

 Good work so far. Do you get vertigo when trying to get out of it?

ya i have talked to josh through our club website / forum about the project.

are you on mudnuts or something? just a guess since it said Roch in your profile

Looks awsome so far cant wait to see it in action.

ya-mudnuts

Good thing you didn’t go with a full size spare… would have been hanging the wheels

Nice.

Thats just the old 35" spare still on a 5x5.5 rim, that set of tires is for my other CJ anyway… just dont have the room for it anywhere else so i left it on. Planing on getting a full size spare of course, but it will be in the bed. We wheel with rolling toolboxes and enough parts to get out of anything…or at least limp back…
