sheetz gas?

you guys are all fucking stupid who arre saying retard timing with race gas…Leaded gas needs to run a greater advance CURVE due to it’s slower burn rate. why don’t you guys go learn something and then post, instead of posting and making us correct you.

LOL!

I was trying to be polite about it, but yeah, exactly.

I thought we were talking race gas and nitrous or something. But if your just running race gas on an N/A motor then advancing would be the way.

…Or Sheetz Gas.

Oh and… MTO FTW.

so just to clarify…I’m not the one who’s fucking stupid

i hate you :squint: , those comercials are a fucking tease

you know, I am wrong, I’m gonna shut up

i been runnin sheetz gas and sunoco as well as BP…mainly the 3 i have run since i got my car…havent noticed anything different between the 3…but again, i havent been lookin

speaking of gas mileage anyone screw with that acetone stuff? I remember Awhile back someone posted something about it but never got any readings on it.

All I can say good about sheetz is they invented the Shmonster :bigthumb:

As for the gas I noticed after some testing sheetz gas according to my car after a tank I got 20mpg
When I used Sunoco my car got 26 so no more sheetz for me.

I keep a fuel log for each of my vehicles. When I had my Cavalier I worked near the GetGo on 885 and would get gas there often. I noticed that I would get about 3 miles less per gallon on the average and sometimes up to 5 miles per gallon LESS from GetGo Fuel. At the time I delivered to convenience stores and gas stations and had many a conversation with the tanker drivers. One driver for GetGo said that GetGo buys the absolute cheapest stuff possible, old gas near the end of the shelf life, poorly refined fuel, etc.

One of the managers at a BP I delivered to was also a chemistry student and we were BSing about gas one day. He had his project at the store and it was about fuel and fuel additives. He sampled gas from several different stations in the North Hills area and found that Sunoco had the least amount of additives and GetGo had the most.

What a scam…put things in the gas to actually LOWER MPG, so that people will run to Giant Eagle and spend a ton of money on overpriced groceries in order to earn Fuel Perks. Low gas prices draw people in to spend a ton of money at Sheetz, less miles per gallon = more trips to Sheetz for MTOs.

My truck gets equal MPG from Exxon and Sunoco. Lucas is awesome and works well. Lucas works better in the tank than SeaFoam.

Also, I said I filled up on Sheetz gas a few days ago, the report is in.

Vehicle: 4.0L 5m 4x4 Jeep Wrangler, Rubicon, curb weight 3800 lb

Jeep, up 'til recently: average 15 MPG
Jeep, recent tank of Exxon 87: 18 MPG
Jeep, recent tank of Sheetz 87: 14 MPG

4 MPG and I drove basically the same routes in the same driving style. Sheetz gas == poop. But the MTO are good

I fill up fifteen or sixteen times per month, so I have a little bit of experience with this. My driving is mostly stop and go, hard acceleration (as hard as it can be in a 130hp car), and rarely in fifth gear.

GetGo 87 octane: roughly 18-19 mpg
GetGo 93 octane: roughly 20-21 mpg
Sunoco 87 octane: roughly 20 mpg
Sunoco 94 octane: roughly 23 mpg

as for Sheetz gas? i never bother with it. shmuffins and mac & cheese are the shit though.

(before you all say “how is that shitty little car getting 20mpg?”, keep in mind the driving that i do. when i drove to Orlando, I got 33-34 mpg.)

my crown vic gets 18mpg in town with 87 octane getgo gas, and 29mpg on the highway on my last trip to the Outer Banks.

I am going to try the sunoco gas for a few weeks and see if there is any change.

my camaro when i went to penn state when it was pretty much stock, got 34mpg

blame it on my shitty GM motor, need for a sixth gear, and heavy car (2800lb).
