Ok do I have a kick me sign on my… I have had so many problems with the nissan community latly.
I was in last night to look at a 2007 Nissan Maxima. I was greeted by a younger guy who seemed to be quite knowledgeable. I asked if I could test drive the car. He said yes and took my ID. He started the car and we sat in it. He then asked if we were dealing with someone else. We said not recently. He also asked if we had been there before. I said yes. My girlfriend (MrsRage) remembers it was an older gentleman who had helped us to look at a 2007 Spec V about 3 months earlier. So he walks inside and grabs Graeme, a taller gentleman with an English accent, and I do remember him. This is where my experience takes a dive. I am asked by Graeme if I am interested in the car. I say yes, and he proceeds to tell me that we should go inside and crunch some numbers. I said I wanted to test drive it first to see if I even like it. He then goes into a whole rant on how he works on commission and he doesn’t have time to go test drive cars with me. He said if I wanted to work a deal out tonight we could do something. I said I work 3 jobs and free time is hard to come by. He said we could come back another time. How is one to purchase a car without test driving it? I know I am missing a lot of details but I have never been treated so badly at a Nissan Dealership. I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V, and my Girlfriend a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V. Her brother in-law (Silverbullet - Official NECC Member) has a 2004 Xterra Supercharged which he got through you (my recommendation). My dad is interested in a 2008 Rouge and I assure you we will be going to another dealership. I even made him wait for a Rouge instead of an X-Trail. I am very passionate about Nissans. I will not be doing business with this dealership again. I’m sorry that I wasted Graeme’s time and that he won’t be making any commissions of me. As many (well some) I have been looking at getting a maxima as my next car. Well it won’t come from Sherwood Nissan
Sorry for the long rant.
