Shipping Wheels - tips and tricks

Hey guys,

I need to ship some wheels (and tires) from here to some dude in the states. Wondering if you guys have some tips and tricks on getting them boxed and shipped.

Who ships the cheapest too?

Any help would be cool.

Oh my bad yoou’re shipping the other way around. I’d drive them to the same place mentioned and ship domestic. Other than that use a freight forwarder and put them on a skid. I can get you the name of the one used to ship a skid with an engine.

2 ways to do it…

one, double up on corrogated cardboard on the face and reverse of the wheels and then use pallet wrap around the whole thing… use a little bit of strapping tape to hold it together.

or if you dont ship with tires on then you can just buy wheel boxes.

i dont thin you’ll find wheel boxes that will fit a wheel with a tire mounted on it though.

If you’re going to the US you’ll be best off with FEDEX or UPS ground with a multi-package shipment.

make sure you get those plastic lip protectors to put around the face.
