I’m looking for a highly reputable shop for my swap. I’m looking to put a RB25DET in my S14. I can get the engine from anywhere, but if anyone has a good engine source let me know as well. Cheers.
good luck, there may be only a few shops that have completed that swap (in ontario), and of them yours may be they’re 2nd, 3rd…
one comes to mind, no comment on they’re reputation as I have never met/dealt with them

Yea, I realize the swap is rare. I don’t really mind driving down to the states for it, but if I can get it done up here why not. SR’s are way to overdone.
SR’s overdone? maybe so but I am very happy with mine.
all the best
are you looking to go real fancy? ie: attesaAWD/R33 front rack/FWD
My plans for the car are relatively common other than the engine.
I can’t afford a RB26DETT, so next step down is the RB25DET.
As far as body goes its gonna become a S14.5 with the S15 front end (common). I don’t mind rwd at all and have no need for awd just yet.
Do you have the custom mounts or are you using the stock Xmember?
Mods?
Why not DIY?
He is not a shop, but he is highly reputable. PM canadiandrifter240sx and see if he is up to the challenge…

i wouldn’t trust any shop with a swap… most don’t know wtf they are doing, and take FOREVER.
I would get custom mounts. I have no problem doing body work myself, but the only engine experience I have is with motorbikes and disiels.
It would however be hella more cheaper to do it myself. Possibly could afford a RB26DETT then… lol…
I will PM canadiandrifter240sx, and talk to him as well.
Thanks for the replies.
next level successfully swapped an RB25 into an S13… they are a really good shop. get a hold of them,
Next Level Automotive in Etobicoke?
Also as far as the motor mounts, transmission mounts, crossmember and driveshaft, they are all sourced from McKinney Motorsports.
I would welcome the challenge but it would not be a week end project.
Something like this may take a bit and proper prep is important.
There is nothing worse then starting a project you can’t finish because you do not have proper parts.
