A Shop that well do a RB25 swap

Hello,

I’m going to be looking for a shop that will do an RB25DET swap into an 91 s13. I would love to do it myself, but I have no idea how and also I don’t want to mess anything up.

Thanks
Steve

Have you checked Intense Motorsport? JDM-Imports might be able to contact Mitch. Those are all that come to mind.

Speak to Mickey DA; he has an S14 with RB25 swap… I’m sure he’ll recommend us to do the swap… contact mitch@jdm-imports.com

Thanks!
Mitch

i saw them drop a rb25 in a s30 chassis  :R
these guys test their knowledge on the track and really know what’s up about cars, especially performance mods
maybe that’s the reason the owner won the touring car championship this year :drivin

Sure, an RB25 into an S30 is no problem. The car is stock six cylinder.
That’s a very common swap. Those 240Zs take anything in the engine bay. It’s not really eventful. Sequence Garage is good but I recommend OniJDM (JDM-IMPORTS) for the kill.
At least you know they’ve shoehorned a large 6 into a small 4cylinder space at least once before.

picture of a s13 with a rb25, i don’t see how its shoehorned in there but you do make a good point, the shop has experience performing this swap and will have a much easier time than someone who hasn’t done it before, however i do not expect that SG will disappoint you in any way with the end result.

and btw getting the engine inside the car is only half the work, getting everything working properly i would imagine takes more time and knowledge than just dropping an engine in the bay

Thank you everyone with your help. I think I’ll be going with OniJDM, I’ll be contracting them soon about how much it well be.

So now all have to do is get everything i need.

Cool, I suggest you come by my shop and we can talk; this Saturday is good; or if you’re going to the drift event this Sunday we can meet then too…

Thanks!
Mitch

I’ll be at the drift event this Sunday, just going to watch lol…the car is far from ready to be drifting it, I still have to remove the hicas system.

Oh, if you still have a set of the nismo shoulder things in red, I can buy them this Sunday as well

Sasha at SG-Motorsport

“Shoehorned” in that it doesn’t belong there. It was never offered that way from factory. The pullys almost touch the radiator and essentially the core support.

From what I remember Sasha did the the engine swap on funkd5s 300… but charged him 2 arms and 2 legs to do it. That was just a straight swap engine to engine. No engine mount fab work and positioning necessary.
Mitch has my vote. JDM Imports.
