Unfortunately, thats the way Mopar designed their stage upgrades to work. Since the turbo is so small, and EGT’s get very high beyond 5400 RPM (and 17-20 PSI), the PCM just starts dumping fuel. The mopar stage kits were designed for both performance, reliability and longevity. A few tricks (map clamp & stronger wastegate) and a nice tune could boost numbers to around 270-280 WHP, and 300-320 WTQ.

Kinda sucks…but oh well. Got a few things in mind, just trying to decide which road to take before I spend the cash :slight_smile:
