Siezed threading - nto sure howto go about it

But see the thing is it’s not spinning freely… its VERY VERY tough to spin.

hm, it’s probably not what i said then. i change my vote to stripped threads on the bolt.

try to find a different way to pry down that works better, it should be able to get it out.

did the bolt come out part way or is it still in the same place it was when it was tight?

I think it came out part way. I’m gonna torch it later tonight I guess… I used all my upper body weight to pry down, and nothing…

If you have acess to an impact gun try that, it might be enough to get it past the fuked part.

I might have access to one of those electric impact guns… but thats about it unfortunately.

that’s all i use, they work fine enough.

You say they work fine, but if you’ve ever used a real pneumatic one, you’ll realize how junky they are. They do the job, but they’re really no substitute. It’s like a cordless hammer drill…

I doubt it’ll fix your problem Dan, you’ll probably have to torch the rest out if you can’t get it out with BFI.
