Probably unrelated but I saw a p-51 flying low and slow over Niskayuna/Schenectady this evening. Looks like the Aeroscience Museum is having a little event this weekend with a b17, b24 and the p51 all on display http://www.esam.org/Misc%20html%20Files/WingsOfFreedomTour.html

P51 is owned by a guy in Galaway. It’s a local airframe and the guy that owns it is very nice. Forget his name but have spoken with him on multiple occasions are airshows. I usually see it over my shop a few times during the summer as the airspace over my shop is perfect for that plane to get loose.

All three of those planes are up here right now, I’ve watched the B24 fly over for the past two days, very cool plane. $425 for a ride in it, $3,200 an hour if you want to go in the P51 Mustang.
