replacing all vacuum lines is a CUNT on those cars… truly an evap/vacuum nightmare. and they wear out/crack constantly. buy stock in them. srsly.
the checkball in the boost control solenoid line is retarded… id ALMOST say get rid of the bcs, plumb in a manual boost controller and dial it to where you want it (within reason and dont go cranking it) more adjustability that way for those “racegas” nights. …kinda. you just have to keep an eye on it in colder/warmer weather.
