Saw my car, along with a completely overflowed lot of impounded cars at 1am in NYC last night. They were ruthless last night, towing anything they felt like, guessing do to it being the night before 9/11
Im pretty sure I was not parked illegally, but some of the people down at the yard said they were towing a lot of cars just because that night. The yard was so fucking backed up, tow trucks lined up with cars for blocks, at least 100 people in the office.
Random traffic stops, looking in cars etc
Needless to saw was an interesting night in NYC for me.
On my way out of the city, there were tow trucks all over the place, it was like a well oiled machine, a truck on damn near every street it seemed like, and there was still close to 30-40 trucks waiting to check in cars at the impound lot
I was there at 9am yesterday morning and they were towing cars lol… Was about 7-8 tow trucks driving around.
I shit you not I counted close to 30 tow trucks in the impound line, and on the street going back 2-3 blocks waiting to get in to check in cars, after i got mine out it seemed there was still a tow truck going down every street, fucking insane.
The thing that pissed me off, is there was a car in front and behind me when I parked, BOTH OF THEM WERE STILL THERE, one was a taraus and the other was an Audi. I thought my car got fucking jacked for a minute. First time driving down in the city by myself without someone comming with so I was a wreck.
Luckily the people I met with down there stuck around till i figured out where my car went and gave me a ride.
I was also suprised they dident damage my car at all, there is a small scrape on the black paint on my window trim from where they stuck in a hook to open up the door but aside from that not a scratch, thats what I was worried about the most, they normally dont give a FUCKK what they do to your car
When I was there pretty much every freaking st was blocked off, hundreds of cops walking around, special security companies walking aaround with bomb sniffing dogs and everything! shit was insane… Also saw the three hottest girls I have ever seen in my entire life at the parking garage where i parked my car… They were dressed up as flight attendents but too whorish to be legit, def thinking they were porn stars… Last part has no relevance to our convo but I though id share regaurdless.
