saw a black Jaguar XF today on the way to work. It looks quite nice in person. The back end is definitely nice on it, compared to previous Jag models. its not that its more modern looking, its that it looks like its complete. Seems like they put more time into designing it. The older ones seemed like they would just sorta sketch it and then wing the rest. Personally, i dont think the headlights need that round bit at the top. it’d have looked much meaner and more agressive if they just let the hood line slope down and inward without that cut out. I think if they were to go with M3 style fender vents(slim horizontal ones vs the vertical single gill design) and did Audi style flushed door handles, they have had an absolutely gorgeous vehicle on their hands.

I remember seeing the first commercials for the XF a couple months ago and I ended up calling Keeler Jaguar to go take an XF for a test drive. Let’s just say I was not impressed at all with how cramped the interior seemed and how weak the engine & handling felt. I had initially told a sales rep I only wanted to test drive the Supercharged version, so when I showed up I was appauled to see that they only had a “stock” XF but the sales rep kept telling me it was supercharged. It’s sad to me when you’re trying to sell a 65k car that the sales guy doesn’t even know the full engine specs on the vehicle he’s trying to pitch.
Anyways, I really never considered buying the thing I just wanted to go beat on it and get a feel for the new redesigned Jags. At the end of the test drive the Salesmen asked me if I “even made enough money to afford the XF”. I was quite disgusted at that, and to be honest even if I was in love with the car there’s no chance in hell I would ever consider doing business with Keeler Jaguar.
Anyways…back on topic, I just saw a new red droptop Mustang with grey racing stripes parked across the street from my work. I also noticed a decal on the back that had something along the lines of “ichi turbo”? Don’t quote me on that but I’m going to go over during lunch to see if the guy turboed the new stang (which I would be very surprised if he did)
Also I saw a Bright Blue Bentley Continental GT yesterday when I was up in Saratoga. That thing looked fucking SICK.
