Saw my ass almost lift outta the seat then pucker up through some turbulence flying outta Orlando.
I was flying back from a business trip in Houston back in March right at the time when those tornadoes were hitting the south. For some reason, the pilot decided to fly over everything on his way to Panama City, FL…let me tell you…I’ve flown a LOT and I was freakin out. Plane was creakin like a mofo, thought it was gonna snap in half.
Southwest (it seems more than others) tends to have pilots for other flights hitching rides around the country…one of them was sitting across the isle from me. After we landed, I asked him if that was pretty bad and he said, nonchalantly, “Nah, seen worse.”
