i ran that kid when my car was on the stock tune with a downpipe and catback… i was on my way home from trick shots in the sti with my girl at the time, my buddy brian in his evo was along side me, my friend gerry in his 91 sr20det sentra was in front of him and the kid blows a u-turn in the MIDDLE of the 9+146 intersection to come chase us down…he paces brian… brian wont race… he goes up and paces gerry… gerry ignores him… i figured what the hell… go up and pull along side him around where pizza plus north is by farm to market… the kid drops it into 3rd at like 60…and guns it without honking… i dropped from 6th to 5th… and walked past him like he wasnt moving…turn left onto ushers rd and pull into hess for some gas… the kid follows me in and tells me hes got a full greddy exhaust with no cats, and a vishnu reflash for his computer… now mind u his girl is sitting in the car staring at him like hes a tool for chasing down a car he just got spanked by… and then he tells me my car goes pretty good and that my 3rd gear pulls really hard… i told him i went to 5th… he says “no fuckin way man i heard u down shift”… i said yes… i was in 6th, i went to 5th… he continues to tell me how i was lying and that theres no way my car would pull like that in 5th… my girlfriend getting agitated at the kid and wanting to leave (she was pms-ing) said “listen, he put it in 5th gear and flew past your ass, shut up”… haha i died laughing, got back in the car and left hysterically laughing… anyways, yes this was my run in with the rx-8 ricer of clifton park
haha I was cruising down 9 the other night on my way home from walmart and my buddy was behind me in his audi…we went by track shot and all of a sudden my buddy notices a blue rx-8 come flying past him and he notices he slowed down and was pacing me…me and my girlfriend look over (ya…even she laughed at him) and I just shook my head and turned into prestige vette dealer to check out the new LS3 2008 vette ( I want :worship
Anyways, I know he knows my car because Im cool friends with his buddy Bob who had a black and modded rx-8 and we use to cruiz around all the time…he hadto of known he didnt stand a chance?? right now he prolly would tho. Damn tranny :headbang
also, shooting flames may be cool, but it isnt exactly good lol…at night when my car wont shift, and it bounces off the rev limiter, my car sprays out flames…just cause the ignition is lighting the combustion mixture too late and its flowing through the exhaust.

I think they come stock with HIDs, so ya it probably did 
rx-8s are the biggest waste of money. My step-bro had one and it was a major disappointment. Maybe it excels on a track/autoX, but we never took it out so I have no idea. s2k>rx8. If you have enough dough to do a 3-rotor swap then it would be worth it, but we’re talking big bucks here.

Is that the one sitiin Nemer? Has like smoked lights, cabron fiber middle piece to the font bumper…i think an air intake and a suspension too? They don’t know shit about whats done to that car. They called me and thought i would be interested in trading my GTI in for it. I drove it back in September and was interested until they told me the price…Do they still want over 20g’s for? What a waste of my time…they wanted me to pay more for a used GTI with miles on it than I paid for my 2003 brand spankin new with 40 miles on it. Fuck Nemer
this car is a whore its been at the place next to langan then nemer, now looks like langan?. at the small shop they wanted 18,900 and wouldn’t budge. at nemer they wanted 3k for it… i told him that new 06’s went for 22 and change… i personally wouldn’t pay more then 16,500 otd. its got an ingen intake and a carbon front. nice car. too bad its an early 06 tho. if you get it… make sure you get the certified extended warranty.

I completely agree with you on both aspects. I bought my car from Nemer when it was New back in 2003 and tried to trade it in numerous times for something newer and got dicked around every single time.
I think I’m holding off on the gti so i can finish my car project this summer. my wife bought her bug there and there service sucks now that 1stgen’s not there.
K-20power i went to every dealer around the other day just looking at what was new . the sti was the only none vw Audi that stands out . the new missue bitchy is ugly as hell .

Randy at Nemer lacks customer service hands down. He rattles off prices off the top of his head that are incorrect almost every single time and will never price check anything anytime i’ve ever called. I honestly don’t know how that guy still even has a job over there.
