how was a foxbody made to go “fast”? what precautions did ford make to ensure that the car would be safe at supersonic speeds?
by the way, i’m as big as you are and had Joseph “gig-a-boo” or whatever you call him in my “little shitbox” Altima hitting the speed limiter at 148, thing could have cruised there alllll day and had plenty left in her (someone with a chipped 3.5SE (limiter delete) has gone 160+ many times…) :thumbup
i’m playing devil’s advocate here… as well as COMPLETELY disagreeing with you.

Mustangs have been raced since the '60’s. Theres racing technology and parts built into them.
miata’s have been raced since 91. have you ever heard of a Spec Miata? i’ve never heard of a Spec Mustang…
You might be as tall as me but I easily outweigh you but atleast 75 pounds.
completely irrelevant to the point :lol
Just because a car can go fast doesnt mean it should.
I had my Elantra up to 115 and my Neon up to 120. Realistically those were ‘safe’ speeds for either of those cars.
BTW it was Gigagoon.
