how was a foxbody made to go “fast”? what precautions did ford make to ensure that the car would be safe at supersonic speeds?

by the way, i’m as big as you are and had Joseph “gig-a-boo” or whatever you call him in my “little shitbox” Altima hitting the speed limiter at 148, thing could have cruised there alllll day and had plenty left in her (someone with a chipped 3.5SE (limiter delete) has gone 160+ many times…) :thumbup

Mustangs have been raced since the '60’s. Theres racing technology and parts built into them.

You might be as tall as me but I easily outweigh you but atleast 75 pounds.

Just because a car can go fast doesnt mean it should.

I had my Elantra up to 115 and my Neon up to 120. Realistically those were ‘safe’ speeds for either of those cars.

BTW it was Gigagoon.

i’ve had the stang well and buried on speedo. it holds it’s own. but i don’t know about hammering any corners at that speed..

the only good part of being big is the chance is lees likely to be ejected. lol. but if u stay the car you’ll prob. die just the same..:eek
