how can u tell when a turbo’s oil seals are going bad? reason i am asking is because yesturday morning when i went off to class my car was smoking like crazy out of the tail pipe leaving a smoke screen behind me when i drove. so i turned around and went home to get the other car. the car was running perfect the day b4 no smoke or nothin. does that sound like the seals are gone? i know u can take off the ic piping and see if there is oil in there but im not goin to do that untill the ground dries up.
i checked the compressor side and there is no oil on the housing but there is a huge amount of smoke coming out the exhaust
you will be smoking pretty good at idle too. pull of your down pipe off and see if its leaking heavy
