So, I was out at the strip today. All pumped up for my first run of the day, Got to the next in line to race, and left my car running for a good warm up. “Yes!” my turn is up, I lay down a decent burnout and stall the car because of the non-recirc BOV. Embarrasing a bit, So i Fire it up again. And get all staged. Make a decent launch and a ok reaction of .2. About 3/4 of the way down the track my car hickups, and i look in my rearveiw, only to see POURING white/blue smoke. “Shit” I clutch in and coast back to the turn around and start making my way back, The car is running like shit, Misfiring like you wouldnt believe. Make it back to the pits, shut down and Pop the hood. “what the fuck, where is my dipstick?” The damn thing shot out and was laying up by my windsheild wipers, and TONNES of oil had shot out from the dipstick tube and all over my engine bay, and for the most part, on my super hot manifold. I get the car somewhat cleaned up and fire it up again to check my rings by taking the oil cap off when its running, A guy at the track there with his car claimed it wasnt too bad at all… and suggested i check the PCV valve. It seems as though the oil pressure was so great that it blew the dipstick right out. As for the car misfiring now, i’m going to check my plugs and all the obvious things that may have gone. The car builds boost still, and holds it, so im thinking its nothing to do with that. The car spits a bit of blue from the exhaust when its idling as well.
Anyone have any ideas as to what to check other than the obvious such as plugs…?
A few people said i should check the lines for the turbo, which I will do as soon as i can get under the car. But other than that. I have no idea.
Help me!!! PLEASEe!11 haha…
