Since when did sports garner a Pardon by POTUS?

What the hell is the media doing to this country?

When did baseball become so important to the american country that people are actually discussing wether the President of the United States would issue an executive pardon to a sports player?

Christ, I thought it was overkill to waste the time of Congress on penny ante shit…

One of Brian McNamee’s lawyers predicted that if Roger Clemens is convicted in connection with the baseball steroids scandal, he’d be pardoned by President Bush. Lawyer Richard Emery also said some Republicans treated his client harshly because of the pitcher’s friendship with the Bush family.

Bush is into baseball.

Couldn’t agree more. We have so many problems in this country, and they waste it on fucking baseball?

What a joke.

There are Clemens : Bush family ties.

But is this shit REALLY worth the time of the highest levels of our executive branch?

Baseball isn’t even the national pastime anylonger, the NFL surpassed it ($$, attendance rates, and youth particiaption) years ago.
