Sinus Surgery...

I live off of netipots right now, it’ll be nice to actually use them

You’re voice has been kind of nasally…

From what you’re saying, I think I should probably see a doctor about this as well.

I had the exact same thing done years ago ( i was in 7th grade, whatever age that is). I didn’t fare so well. It was absolutely miserable, but it could have been because i have always had terrible sinus allergies too. I bled for a long time. It would drain back while i was sleeping and i would wake up in the middle of the night throwing up snotty blood. The pure pain from the sinus pressure cause by throwing up was probably worse than the throwing up itself.

I’m going in tomorrow morning to get an examination done to get my polyps taken out again (they came back after all this time, awesome.) This time I don’t have a deviated septum though, so i should be fine this time. It sure will be nice to be able to breath and not get sinus infections once or twice a month.

I do have to say though… I also live off of my neti pot. It has been amazing, but half the time lately i can’t even pass water through my sinuses. Usually i just have to lay down with whatever side is plugged on top, wait for the blockage to start to switch to the other side, then go use the neti pot really fast while i have airflow…lol it sucks so bad. I hate sinus problems.

Going in for surgery tomorrow at 11:45, I’ll try to post tomorrow when I get back home!

awesome friday the 13th… oh good luck :stuck_out_tongue:

damn man. good luck. I just saw my ENT doctor today and got some pretty shitty news. Have to go get a sweat test for cystic fibrosis and a cat scan… blah.

I am actually calling my new primary today to schedule my first well visit with the new coverage. After that i’ll be following up to fix my problems.

Good luck man, i’m in for results!

Good luck!

In for results

Good luck. I have a badly deviated septum also so I’m curious how it goes.

Back home from surgery, lemme tell ya…pain is sure pretty bad. But, loritabs are fine in my book. I guess they removed .28 inches of bone from my left nostril and a nasal polyp the size of a walnut from the side as well. My adenoids came out without a hitch.

First time under anesthesia…quite the experience.

woooooowwww

So I get to pull out the packing today…not looking forward to this at all :frowning: also, I did not sleep for more than 2 hours last night cuz I was so stuffed up.

hope today will go better for you… <3

I do too, apparently after the packing is out it’s much more easy to cope with everything. I’m about to hop in the shower and take them out…eek!

take videos and post em up!

haha nasal weight reduction

My nurse thought I was crazy when I told her I was going to port and polish my sinuses, she didn’t get the reference I guess.

Let me know how this went in a week or two, when you are all back to normal. I may actaully go to the doctor about this. Mine are bad. I have not been to a doctor though in about 6-7 years.
