Ski-Doo issue

If Indy440 cant fix it you might as well throw it away. No joke! ive known him for probably 20 years…man that makes me sound old.

Also considering it used to be his old sled.

When you hit the primer a bit while running. It actually tries to die. There was fuel in the bowl when I pulled it off on the trail. Actually everything in the bottom of the bowl looked spotless. Floats worked fine along with the valve.

The fuel pump did pump out a bit of fuel when the engine was pulled over. We didn’t have it running with the line off though (didn’t want a gas bath), just gave it a few pulls to see if anything came out.

so with that said pull the main jet and the pilot and remove the blockage

There clean.

If it doesnt try to run when you hit the primer then its not a fuel problem. 10 bucks says there is low compression in one cylinder.

Highly doubt its an ignition problem.

Do you have a compression tester? I can bring mine over tomorrow and help you get this thing figured out. Hell, I feel bad you’re having problems with the thing, why don’t you bring it over tonight and I’ll fix it, free labor.

Can I bring it up to your house tomorrow or friday?

Tonight is good.

Did you register that thing?

Didn’t register it. I didn’t ride it enough to bother

its rather expensive to register them now too. I remember when it cost like 7 dollars…

that there is a stand up business man… dont see that much anymore …most people woulda said your problem… i would trust this guy to work on my stuff anyday

Got the kids to bed early last night and got a chance to look at it. No compression in the PTO side cylinder, rounded off on the exhaust side. No big deal and a quick, easy fix.
