skyline question

hey im interested in getting a skyline and all but can anyone tell me what the diffrence is betwwen the GTS and GT-R are, hopfully you can answer that for me.

Also is a mitsubishi GTO worth getting???

As for the difference between a GTS and a GTR is… a GTR is the top model of Skyline. It comes with an RB26DETT engine opposed to the GTS which has the Rb20DET or I have seen some come with just an RB20DE (non turbo)

And I can’t answer about the Mitsu GTO

In other words, GTS-T = $12000-15000, GTR = $15000-30000 (roughly speaking, prices can vary depending on condition of car)

Like I said, those are rough figures :axe: It all depends on the condition of a car a person wants to buy.

If yer buying a skyline… dont dick around… cause if you have anything less than the GTR you just look like a dork… NO point in buying a skyline thats not the best one they make… I was going to buy a 400hp silvia… but instead i think i changed my mind to buy a GTR, they just look alot nicer and have more potential… might be twice the money as a gts… i mean hell you can get a gts for like 8 grand… but if you wanna play you gotta pay… GTR is the only way to go.

Some people just dont need what the GTR offers. There is nothing wrong with a GTS-T.

Not everyone has the budget for a GT-R either. I wouldnt say you ‘have to pay to play’ if you aren’t even ‘in the game.’

Exactly, there’s nothing wrong with them. I’d guess about 20% or less of the Skylines in Canada are GTRs. Just look at SCI Motors’ website, most of the cars they sell are GTS-T 8)

no no…fine buy the gts … … hey does the GTR have nice seats… i’m just wondering if the seats are nice or not, cause i’m thinking of picking up some nice brides or APC seats…(bwhahaha)… no actully just brides or ricaros.

I love the GTR stock seats! They hug you and love you and cheer you up when you’re sad… Alright maybe not the last two, but they’re really comfortable. They feel like racing seats to me :stuck_out_tongue:

its all about what people can afford … and to some for daily driving you dont need over 250hp … and most gts-t in japan have gtr front end conversions with bride seats and the whole deal so I dont see why they are such an inferior to the GTR

the suede gtr seats are soo nice …ask any of the lethbridge guys …they ALL have them in their cars

I must agree, besides the r34 GTR seats the R32’s are wicked. I wish i had that over a Recaro.
