Skyline Sparkplugs

Helping a buddy and i’m kinda scratching my head.
The plugs we pulled out of the car are PFR6A-8, i took a look on the Champion website and it kick out a couple of NGK plug numbers: PFR6A-11 and another -11 number. What i’m scratching my head about it if the -11 plug numbers will run to hot considering we pulled -8 out of the engine. Any help from the skyline boys would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Bubba

-11 at the end is 1.1mm

you prob want to gap it to the spark plugs you pulled out. -8 is most likely .8xmm

can somone confirm?

You pulled out a 6 heat range plug, the 11 indicates gap. Just get the same number plug, you can go with the -11 and just gap it down to .8. Sometimes you may be able to find a plug that doesnt even have the -11 at the end, again you would have to gap them your self.

Exactly -11 = 1.1mm gap

So just gap them to .8mm.

And try not to get platnium they are the shit in turbochagred applications

Thanks guys, i was under the impression that the dash number was how hot the plug would burn at. Shows how much i know.

Stock gap is actually 1.1 mm. If you’re running more boost (1 bar) you’ll want to gap them to 0.8 mm.
