see the thing is that its not exactly profiling. The only things that are considered profiling are racial stuff, disabilities, gender, etc… If a person with a disability was denied a job lifting heavy boxes it wouldnt be profiling. They have every right to deny someone that is incapable of doing their work. Descrimination is touchy and can be looked at in many ways. Its a different discussion for a different day but, the companies name is Weyco, and the story can be found here
i hate it when i see people smoking in nice cars. it is like they are detroying a good thing. i saw a guy smoking in a 911 (930) on elmwood and i wanted to punch him in the face. that is a really unusual urge for me.
why do you care? their the ones who paid for it… their entitled to do with it as they wish (now… if they picked it up off the stealership lot and began keying it for some strange reason, I’d tend to agree with ya a little more
On a side note, “Thank You For Smoking” comes out today…
nothing pisses me off more than a cigarette butt bouncing off my winshield on the highways…
lol what about a brick? I bet that would make you a little more angry
:word:
well after reading this thread i was driving and smoking my butts…and you know what i did? i simply stripped it while driving (got rid of the left over tobacco and cherry) and put it in the ashtray. i did this right after i was about to throw it out and thought of this thread. no friggin lie. so you have done some good for the world. now i just need to work on quitting.
