My work is closed. We can get called in if someone has an electrical emergency but that’ll take big $$$ to get us to roll out for. A plant would have to crash or something.
Wife is off but is sick and was gonna call in anyway. I think my son’s daycare was still open, but we kept him home.
The wind died enough for me to snap this while I was out uncovering my truck.

Hard to tell but there is about 19 inches in my driveway.
High of 70* and Sunny today in socal, and for some weird reason i’m really really upset not being with you guys in this shit. The past 3 winters in Buffalo have been pretty mild, and as soon as I leave it’s back to this… but i’m a weirdo who likes this stuff.
I had a blast driving home yesterday. This thing rips in the powder!
Went out to start the bmw make sure if needed i could drive it. It started right away for me even though my temp said -1 
brushed it off let it warm for a few and plowed thought the 1 foot + snow drift in front of me. Wish the visibility was better could of had some real fun.
I’m done playing outside for now…I’m gonna fire up the grille in the living room, get all toasty, have a sammich, and take a nap. Back in a few…
I have a fun day ahead…My parents, my sister and bro in law, and myself all live within 1/4 mile of each other. My parents are in Florida and my sister and her family are in Quebec skiing. My sisters friend is staying at their house. I have to snowblow my driveway to get out to go snowblow their driveway so she can get out. My driveway is about 200’ long and my sisters is about 350’ Should be awesome…ugh

Following up on that. My friend has a house on Grand Island right across from Cayuga Island. This is his dock an hour ago that is usually a good 2-3 feet above the water.
There are concerns Cayuga Island may go under.
Hmmmm…going over to the sister’s house to “help her housewatching friend out of the driveway”. A likely story.
