Like I said before, if you have a giant sponge on your roof you better shovel it off because if it rains your roof is fuxored. Your snowy driveway won’t seem like such a priority when your bedroom is crushed with snow.
Yeah, get up there and have a heart attack shoveling your roof while your lazy neighbor does nothing, has his collapse, and will end up with basically a new house for the cost of his insurance deductible.
No one rewards hard work anymore. 
This is the most concerning part of all this IMO. I mean digging out is a PITA but digging out of a house with a 2x4 through your lung is at least 10x as hard.

If I could train his ass, believe me, I would. I’m not sure what the forecast is past Tuesday but I get the feeling it’s all gonna warm up, get soupy and gooey, then freeze like a fucking rock. This happened to me when I used to plow and turned what were bumper like snow drifts into instant granite landscaping boulders everywhere.
