So how many licensed mechanics are there at MSSC?

Assembled RB26DETT from parts, had it in the car and running perfectly in 2.5 days.

Heh. We work on a lot of class A mechanic’s cars. It’s downright scary.

But yeah, we don’t do much routine maintenance stuff.

Canadian tire is awesome. One class A mechanic sits upstairs in his office surfing for porn while a gaggle of first year apprentices run around the shop screaming “the sky is falling, the sky is falling!”

No one wants to work at MSSC, the pay sucks, the hours suck, and you end up having to do things like turn a random box of parts into a Skyline on a weekend.

I’m downright sick of seeing Skylines. Their owners flock together, and their cars all break!

But at least they’re not broke like 240 owners

“I’m gonna build a KA-T for like $300 man … watch me. I’ll be the fastest cheapest car on SON!”

mmmhmm

hahaha… preach on

hahahah oh its true.

not all the tools around the shop are used to build cars lol

i would work there… but then again im sure u dont want a 16 year old working in ur shop

meh i would rather have a liscensed mechanic do the work, but i’ll admit some liscensed mechanics are garbage.

Find one that does good work, lucky for me I have one thats close to the family, his first sr swap was better than anyone elses around here, and charges the same as mssc…

Does he also do civic turbo swaps for girls?

Yeah you can’t be comparing MSSC guys to the chimps at Crappy Tire.

Like comparing apples and turds.

Are the MSSC guys the apples or the turds?

I kid!

burn!

judge a shop by the work that comes out of it

not the cars that are in the shop and not what people tell you they can do. just because a nice car is in a shop doesnt mean anything - it might have been nice when it went in there.

yeah, like sandra was at mssc all winter but we all know she was sexy long before, most people assumed we built her lol.

not that its hard to build a cookie cutter 240, but it still proves the point.

sandra is a cookie cutter 240 eh

ty’s just a stupid poser who follows what people tell him,

matt says “cookie cutter” a lot reffering to any car using mass produced aftermarket parts and believes my car to be a cookie cutter s14, despite the fact that there arent any s14 circuit cars like mine anywhere in north america.

so ty is a cookie cuter ricer

All these damn cookie cutters and no cookies in sight.

bullshit, my woman made me cookies yesterday and I’m eating one right now

Heh … let’s not forget it was more in reference to Ty’s ambition to be the first guy in North America to completely copy Sasha’s build.

And as for track cars like Sandra, minus the ghetto gold paint and D2s, I’ve seen my share. Hell, we’ve got one in our latest issue LOL

Cookie Cutter is an old term, don’t take it so literally. It’s always been the antithesis of a Hot Rod. Track cars make sense to be cookie cutter, you take what someone else has already proven and go with it.

I have my own idea as to what someone’s car should be. Or rather what I do with mine. And that’s probably why my shIt doesn’t run.

actually there are 5 or 6 competition scca s14’s racing around the us… most are running in gt2 or gt3 however there was one that failed to start, running in gt1… gt1 being comprised mostly of ex trans-am cars as they fit the rules with the least modification from their current form.

there are also 4 s13’s ( all coupes) running in the lower touring classes as well…

as well take into account that these cars were at the runoffs so the level of competition that they are running with is far higher than any regional event.

the best part of all… not a single s13 was running a turbo… KA-E’s… go figure lol

the s14’s were running turbo engines however i was unable to determine what they were…

lastly… 2 of the s14’s were a frontal tube frame design running a quick release 1 piece front clip.

just some info… not comparing anything.

i commend sasha for his accomplishments and would never consider his car cookie cutter… if fact if i were better funded i could see myself being in a similar setup and series to what sasha is currently in.

GT

GT

ya but how many race on 18" volks with greddy front mounts and apex exhausts?

bahahahaha

the point is my car is basically a “drift” car, yet im road racing it. how unordinary is that?

I think you guys should higher me to deal with all the pretty ladys.

and hire mark (birdhou) to attract all the pretty ladies
