no need to be in confidence… Hospitals are fucking scary. No Joke. I work in one, and cannot stress enough that if you don’t feel confident in something or see something that bothers you, speak up. You have to sometimes take into consideration that Dr’s and RN’s are still human beings, and make mistakes. And then there are some that simply got their credentials from a cracker jack box. On more than one occasion I’ve spoken up for a patient when I noticed something that wasn’t quite right and is out of their norm, and on more than one occasion I’ve gone above the nurses, and even the doctors head and gotten somebody to address the issue. Sometimes people aren’t always willing to do that or just consider this profession like any other 9-5 job, and thats the scary part.
