well the US dosne’t have enough man power to drop troops into china … the military force isn’t what it used to be … the military in general is downsized from what it used to be.
they coulden’t fight a ground war … it would be a SOF (special operations forces) war… drop some in take out target(s) recall … do it again …

They do not have the delivery system like we do. Thats what keeps countries like China and NK from being major threats like the USSR was.
Again this would be a last resort if an all out war were to occure. But I def would not rule nukes out.

While I do think that there is a large group of Americans that’ll rise up in arms, I’m afraid that the majority will simply sit back and watch it on their Big Screen HDTv’s -or- headrest monitor in their Daewoo SUV. We as a country have grown as disattached & isolated as Japan former. We (the general public) have chosen to make it so. and that scares me.

Agreed, and agreed. This is where the problem lies. Maybe not in this presidential term, but in MANY others… the US of A has been baited in to “policing the world” and it wouldnt be hard to so again. IMO: especially once G-dubYa leaves office. God forbid another “Clinton-esque” president comes to power (disclaimer: I liked clinton, but he policed the world more the GW - who I greatly dislike).

1.) Take over the ports & otherwise isolate them and watch a retardedly overpopulated country go to hell in a matter of a month or two.
