Sheer numbers is what it comes down to…they have over 1 billion people more than us, if for every 1 of our guys we take out 100 of theirs…they still win. Only thing that would possably save our asses in an all out war with china is 1. allied help, and 2. out match them in technology, but its still a stretch.

Probably the only part of this statement that I could agree with.
Quite honestly our military in it’s current state is not cut out for long drawn out wars, especially if someone finds a way to deter our airpower. This could change in about 4 years when the next line of combat fighters finally start being delivered, but even then, it remains to be seen.

that’s exactly the problem, the US military is not geared towards long campaigns. if this WWIII were to happen, we’d be re-fitting on the go, more or less.
